2001 civic lx

Hi guys,my 2001 Honda civic has 158,000 miles and runs great. After my last oil change (the dealer) i started seeing oil drips about 800 miles after the change. I check the oil,it is 1/2 quart over full. I am going to drain it and wanted to ask if i should try High Mileage oil this time? All this car has seen its entire life is 5w20 green bottle quaker state. Just want some of your thoughts,i thank you for your time!

Make sure the drain plug/oil filter isn't loose first. Been know to happen.

My co-worker has an 02 Civic and it leaks oil like a sieve.
Doesnt' help that the PO's didn't drive it much so many gaskets simply dried out!

5w30 Valvoline Maxlife Red bottle syn-blend and replace the pcv valve with an oem one. But I would make sure the oil drain plug is tight as mentioned. It could just need a drain plug washer. Fyi, for next time.

I wouldn't bother with high mileage oil.
