Time now to wait and see if this four cylinder Turbo runs better than some of the others.
Is it going to have LSPI issues?
The real question is, what will the octane requirement be? It could be rated something like 55 EPA highway in a Mazda 3, but if it required 91 octane gas, that would turn some away from buying it.
Most auto makers are working on things behind closed doors to meet the 2025 54.5 MPG EPA fuel economy requirement. GM wants a standard higher octane gasoline because they know gas engines will be
far different less than 10 years from now.
