One thing i can say for certain is that the machine they currently measure emissions with in the annual (from Yr 3 or after 1 year for Private Hire vehicles in London) MOT is unable to register anything from the tailpipe on a Euro 6 Diesel with DPF and AdBlue.

I think TFL are using the Data from these tests.

Interestingly the Jaguar XJ 3.0D is a D and a Mercedes S Class 3.0D is an E.

So a 23yo gas vehicle produces more emissions than a modern diesel? Whodathunkit.
