went into my local napa to get an fluid sprayer for my new job since we dont use brake clean to clean parts. freaking $60 for tht. also got an oil sealer for the taurus since it has a very small oil pan leak which i dont plan on fixing and since i didint use a HM oil last oil change it drips on the exhaust every once in a while. When i was at the counter checking out they had a flyer for a sale on napa gold filters. i used up the last acdelco i got off rockauto for my last oil change. so i picked up 2 napa golds for my malibu for $3.79 each which is not to bad i'd say.

No, you selected the multi pack (you will see MP after the part number). That is the price per filter, but you will get 12 filters for $10.69 each ($128.28 OTD price).
Sometimes the multi pack cost per filter is cheaper than buying one at a time.

Yeah that makes more sense. I went back and saw the single filter price of $12.99.

Local Napa store currently having their semi annual 40% off Gold filter sale here too, till Saturday. For applications I use price is $3.60 (1348)-$3.90(7356). Excellent pricing on a quality oil filter.

As majority Napas are franchised, these sales are very store specific. Napa store a little farther away, not having a Napa Gold sale. When I saw the topic thread, surprised at coincidence in timing. Based on posts here though, generally spring and fall do seem most common.

Hi there Sayjac,

How many of them do you buy at a time? I was thinking of buying two for each vehicle. Which should last a year or two.

Since the sale here is twice a year, usually one (maybe two) at a time. As my oil changes are generally annual now, no need to buy more. Owner once told me they were thinking about only doing the promotion once a year, glad he hasn't, yet. At these prices though, difficult resist buying more than I foresee needing soon.

As noted, these promotions are very store specific, so not surprised of reports of no Gold sale elsewhere. Just something to bring folks into the store I think.
