Good evening BITOGERS. This filter and Mobil 1 was on my friends 2013 F-150 with v-8 engine. Made 8/11/15 and 09:53 am. Friend of mines truck and he got this filter off eBay for like $5~. He did 2 5k runs with M1 5w30 and left filter on for both runs. Took him til yesterday to put 9,800 miles on truck. I'd say filter did just fine

Media is either synthetic or.... as it was very hard to tear and very thick. Put a FRAM ULTRA 10575 and some M1 0w30 from my stash in and on as truck isn't driven much and has like 50,008 on odometer.

Enjoy the pics

Thanks as always for the pics (and the effort to cut). Since that filter fits my truck engine, I have extra interest in it. Looks really good.

Pardon my ignorance, but who manufactures the RP filters?

You're welcome sir. Don't know who makes this filter

That's a stout looking filter but it's overpriced when an FU can be had for $5 or $6 less.

Is the seam separating (pictures 4,5,6) or is it my poor eyesight?

I'm gonna get you a seeing eye dog specially trained to spot turn or ripping oil filters. 1 bark means torn filter and two barks mean ripped filter.
I am just joking with you by the way

Good to see you on here pbm.

I think it's way they made the seam and other pleat looks to be almost against it.

car51 you da man!!! I love your cut and post oil filter surgery. I go straight to BobIsTheOilGuy every night. My wife wants to know exactly what I always am looking at...........Oil Porn, Honey, Oil Porn.
Thank You Very Much!!!!

Yeah I am very surprised at the UVa Cavaliers this year. Really pretty decent so far. I hope your mom is doing good..

When do they play the Kentucky Colonels? Now that's a team to watch.

Seam looks like HD filter, if so it is doubled over itself... regardless what the ends look like the seam is closed if its typical Champ Synthetic media construction.

Thanks for the C&P
