What's the warranty on these things? There is supposed to be a relief valve at the bottom, but it seems like the grease comes out before the boot even expands at all.

I don't know if maybe the boot came off or what since it's all covered in dirt.

Kind of dumb, but I guess it's a good way to change out the grease. lol They show the relief valve right about where the grease leaks out.

A relief valve is better than a torn boot. You're supposed to point the relief valve inboard away from the rotor.

Merk I just watched a video about this and this guy makes it sound like you're supposed to pump it with grease and let the old grease out of the relief valve exchanging it for new grease. At the 1:30 mark.

One of them they pointed it towards the dust shield unfortunately.

Yes it's a good idea. I have Moog ball joints, but mine don't have the relief valve. I gotta be careful not to over grease them or they'll bust.

Maybe the boot is cracked, wipe all that dirt off and check.

My Moog joints for my F150 have the "relief valve" on them. As said, the instructions (yes, I read them) say to point them inboard away from the rotor.

As for completely getting all the old grease out each time, no, you should do it till clean grease starts coming out the relief (usually 4-5 squirts every 5000 miles does it for me, the first 2 are just priming everything up, the last 3 are actually pushing old grease out).

Probably was over greased at some point. I wouldn't grease them to the point where the boot balloons out anyway. Unless it is torn, I wouldn't worry.
