Is 2.50/qt a good price for conventional/blend? I usually pay that for full Syn.

Where are you getting synthetic for $2.50/qt? Even if you snag a jug for $20, that's $5/qt.

Mobil 1 has a $12 rebate on up to two 5 quart jugs. Walmart has it at $22.88 for a 5 quart jug. After rebate which you can submit online til Oct 31st, it's $10.88 or $2.17 a quart. Or wait til December and see what oils Autozone has on clearance, they usually have all types of synthetics for $2 a quart.
