I see that as huge difference when compared to the US which tends to use thinner viscosities and more modern oils.
I actually in the past have used this Castrol oil during winter in Mexico with temps down to 0 degrees Celsius and had no issues to start the car.
After joining BITOG i have moved on to something more like 5W-30 or 0W-40 synthetic.
Synthetic oils are slowly becoming more know in Mexico still the vast majority are still using 20W-50 Dino.
25WXX is tested for cold cranking at -10C (14F), so you should be golden with it way up at 0C!
