I just submitted my Pennzoil rebate online. I used a PDF scam from the web receipt that shows up on walmart.com and not an actual printed receipt.

Two questions for those that have gotten the rebate.

1) does Pennzoil accept that web receipt or do they need a printed one. I got my box today and It had a printed receipt inside. Do I resubmit?

2) My receipt has two jugs, so I submitted twice since there was not place to say I had multiple jugs. The two submission has the same refrerence number from Pennzoil. Was this necessary? Will it cause problems?

thanks

Rebates are designed to be hit or miss sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't.

I submitted a scanned Walmart online receipt and did submit it to Pennzoil for rebate consideration without any issues.
Got my check within 3 weeks.

I did the same thing, just took a screenshot of the web receipt from Walmart. No problems getting my rebate. I've done this about four times with my Walmart receipt and never a problem.

Also every time I do their rebate it gets faster and faster. The last one I did with the Walmart web receipt was last month and it only took about two weeks from time submitted to check in my hand. I'm blown away by how fast their rebate process is. No six to eight weeks here. Also I never had one fail, all of the rebates succeeded.

Their rebate process is top notch in my book and keeps me buying Pennzoil.

Not in 2015-2017. FAR from hit and miss. Don't lump the pre-2015 program into the current ones. Success rates by dozens of Bitog submitters have been in the 95-98% range over a nearly 3 yr period. I only know of 1 person who had one denied...and that one was complicated. Problems with different browsers or uploading receipts are often just lumped into "rebate center" problems rather than the fault of the submitters. There are detailed threads from 2016 and 2017 showing how successful the rebates have become. Mobil 1 rebates have been slow this year...often 8-12 weeks.

The OP should have placed one submission with the one receipt. Photos of printed original receipts/invoices are fine. It's the only way you can do it on line. Your submission might have a glitch. Rebate center recommends 1 submission per receipt. They can figure it out from there. Maybe you'll still get it on the first try. I think the web receipt is ok...not sure on the 2 submissions. If you only get half your rebate just call them up. Give it 6-8 weeks, though they've been getting checks out consistently this year within 2-5 weeks.

My first rebate(s) with Pennzoil and it came right away. I took a screen shot with my phone on Walmart.com and submitted those pictures. One of my pictures missed the purchase date and I kindly resubmitted again and rebate came fast again. Much faster than Mobil. No complaints here.

I had a problem only once when using an online receipt with Quaker state. This year. As long as the
order #.
The order date,
where you bought it from and
how much u paid
r there it should work. Quaker sent me a postcard that says I didn't have all the information I sent from my Walmart screenshot. I got on another page that had more information about the order and sent it again and I got my check. I did Mobil rebate online with a Walmart online screenshot receipt and I got the check just a few days ago.
When I bought a 12 quart pack from samsclub online, they (QS) automatically counted it as two rebates and sent me the value for 2 rebates on one check
If you do have questions about the status there is a number for shell rebate center. If you kept the confirmation number you can call and ask before the check is cut.

Been submitting MIR's to various sources (not just motor oil) for YEARS and never had one unfulfilled for any reason other than a failure on my part, i.e. late Mailing, multiple submissions, etc. Every properly submitted rebate attempt has been met with a check returned to me.

the only time i was ever denied was one time when pennzoil didn't list walmart as a retailer.... got all of the 4 2017 pennzoil rebates... takes a while to show on the status page, and on iphone, the captcha thing often kicks me back to a blank form but once entered there's no problem

I just submitted mine for a 5 quart jug of Platinum. I filled out the form in Chrome and solved the captcha and it just went blank with no way to upload the receipt. I tried again in Firefox and it worked. Fingers crossed I get my check. I tried the Pennzoil rebate a few years ago and was denied. No reason why, just never got any follow up. I like coupons and clearance deals better than rebates, but I'll certainly give SOPUS another shot since I like their products.

Hopefully I'll get something sooner rather than later and I might buy a couple more jugs before the promo is over.

If you successfully uploaded your invoice photo and got a confirmation number, then you should be fine. If no check shows up in 8 weeks, then call the rebate center. Sitting and back and "waiting" for something to happen isn't going to help. Pennzoil rebates have been essentially flawless the past 2 years as you long as you follow the routine. Rebates have been swift this year. If it takes longer than 4-6 weeks, something's probably wrong. Most have been coming in 2-4 weeks. Sometimes one browser won't work. When that happens I drop back to Internet Explorer...never failed yet. Google Chrome is normally good too. Firefox and Safari have been noted as not always working right for the rebate website.
