I’m really curious to know what oil people are running in their’s small displacement turbo charged engines? Can you guys chime in with brand/viscosity grade? Mine is currently filled with 0w20 Amsoil SS and I have a jug of M1 0w30 for the next OCI

M1 5W30 AP, previous was M1 5W30 ESP.
It was important to me that the AP had a dexos1 Gen 2 license #, plus I got a rebate as well as a $10 WM gift card (promotion has ended now) so the price wasn't really that bad ($40 - $10 - $12 = $18 net out of my pocket).

Right now, running a couple of short OCI's w/PYB 5w20 (with a little T6 mixed in)

This December when I'm done, I'm going with either: Redline 5w30, Amsoil Sig. 5w30, or Castrol 0W30
prolly Fram Ultra or Amsoil Ea filter.

Gonna try to get to 7500K miles on OCI

I know rooflessVW finds this oil sub-par, but i still wonder why you never see it for sale at part stores. There are enough Audi vehicles on our roads, i'd think.

Very very interesting. So far, looks like no one with 0w20...well, except for myself. Is there any particular reason 0w20 doesn't go into y'alls engines?

Subaru recommended 5W30 for my engine.
I would consider going in the direction of higher film thickness, but not lower.

Huh? We sell TONS of this on a daily basis at the O'Reilly I work at. I'd say 5w-40 is our most popular weight of Edge. All those European oil-burners in Marin

I use 5W20 in my GDI Sonata but it isn't turbo charged
The Santa Fe Sport 2.0T allows for 5/10w30 and 5w40, along with other viscosity, but not a XXW20

I've seen it at AZ and AAP.

I'm sure you're right. I just haven't seen it but it's probably right under my nose.

2017 2.3 EcoBoost, factory fill. 2,000 miles, "complimentary" dealer conventional oil change for 3,200 miles then Mobil 1 5W-30 for 7,000 miles. I did an UOA with it and it came back real good, it's posted here. Right now I'm using Motorcraft 5W-30 for 5,000 miles, had it in stock, and then will use the last "complimentary" dealer conventional change for approximately 3,000 miles during winter. After that it it's back to Mobil 1 5W-30, which I've been stocking with rebates. For me the Mobil 1 5W-30 has performed well in my engine so I'll continue to use from now on.
