Working right now (on break) was just wondering about grease fittings because I do hear some type of squeak when I turn my steering and I'm not moving or if I'm moving very little. It's not a high pitch squeak so I'm not sure if it might just be the humming of the power steering Maybe? That is a better way to describe it it's like a hum.

I just cannot get under it right now to check things out wanted to ask while it's on my mind.

It's a half ton crew cab 5.3

I'll know for myself in a few hours. A fellow owner said none; Google research says 2. Come on 7:30!

I'm only familiar with the trucks in our fleet at work.
On a stock 2wd 1500, I belive there are only two. Each tie rod end.
On our lone K3500 (1ton 4x4) every moving part in the front end has a fitting I think. Ball joints, tie rod ends, They do not have rack and pinion steering, drag links, idler arms....

My 2010 Silverado half ton has 2 fittings, one on each tie rod. Since the 2012 is basically the same truck, yours should have 2 fittings.
