replacement disaster!
seems the studs are made of potmetal.
they snap off with no torque at all.
turning a simple job to a major ordeal.
what a stupid design.have to replace fuel tank.

Sounds horrible, but typical for a 10yr/old vehicle if it sees winter/salt. Is it possible to drill and/or use self tapping screws with the new sending unit?
