So I get an email to take a percentage off my order if I place in on line. There is an option to reserve it so I did, I figure the less places I enter my credit card online the better. So I go thru the process it sends me an email saying they have the order. I go to the store and ask for my order and they have no record of me reserving a couple oil filters and some oil. Told them I placed the order last Sunday, nope they don't have any order. So I asked if they would honor it and he said no and said I needed to go back home and either resubmit the order or make a copy of the email. This was only 10% off it would of cost me more to drive home and back. The other thing is our store here never has these big sales posted here, ever!

They use to have me over a barrel because I like the Gold filters but we have an O'Reilly's now and the Wix filters are 50 cents cheaper all the time. I created and account there so maybe they will send me some offers.

At my local NAPA exercising any offer from NAPA HQ is like pulling teeth. I know enough to bring 'em hard copy of any offer.

I don't know about online orders as I don't do 'em except for batteries at AutoZone or Advance.

I've never had an issue the few times I've ordered online only to pick it up at my local Napa 20 minutes later. The deal with Napa us that they have independent mom & pops that often don't wanna offer sale pricing and they have market company area stores that may may or may not follow what Napa corporate is doing.

Having stock on hand, seems to be the problem my local NAPA. I live 2 blocks from one and they never have what I need on hand. Spark plugs, misc oil, and bulk hose is about all I know I can get there without having to order it and wait a day for it. I'm not sure how they keep the doors open when you can go to the 3 other box store by me and get what you want right now, for the most part.,,,

That's exactly what happened. They done like sales that hurt their bottom line.

I've had terrible service at the store by me. Twice I've ordered stuff there (in person or on the phone), they say it'll be here tomorrow morning, show up there and they have no record I ever ordered anything. And they charge shipping. Happened with the steering rack bushings and before this, the inner tie rods. Both cases, ended up getting Moog stuff from O'Reilly's. Although Napa seems to stand behind warranties and twice I've used the online thing, seems to be more reliable that the people working there, as its worked both times.

I get a copy of my order by email on my phone, and the store called me within 15 minutes to confirm the order and tell me when they would have it ready.

Keep in mind the NAPA stores are franchised, so they are owned by different people.

The one closest to my house is outstanding. Best group of guys and service I have found yet from any auto parts store. The store that is two towns over I will never set foot in again due to their terrible service and horrible arrogant attitudes.

I feel like most NAPAs I have been too are employed by a-holes. None of them want to work let alone answer a question. My only issue is they tend to have decent sales at the end of year as well as they have stuff like LGR which is hard to find in my area.

My local NAPA is the shiznit. Knowledgeable folks, same guys there for years. Patient with everyone, including the clueless. Always 10% off discount in store if you ask for it. And they will order anything if they can find it.If I could get a shampoo/haircut, a cheeseburger and draft, and a cot, I'd live there.

We have a NAPA store , maybe 20 blocks from me & a NAPA warehouse that has a store front .

Naturally , I go to the one close to me most often . They are a great store .

When NAPA 5W-30 DEXOS synthetic was on sale , I purchased a case at the warehouse . Got to thinking about it & stopped in the other store , next time I was close . Got another case .

But , if prices are equivalent , I usually order from . Or trade at the near by O'reilly .

I watch the sales at Advance Auto Parts & NAPA .

Searched the internet for a dash mat , for the 2006 Buick Lacrosse . Using an email discount code , ended up ordering it from AAP for delivery to my home , free shipping .

Thanks , :-)

Used to frequent NAPA all the time for Eneos and when they had their $10 off $10 coupons or the $10 off $20. Stocked up on a bunch of little stuff with those coupons, but don't see those coupons out anymore. Last time I was there was in the spring for their in-house oil sale. Other than that, Napa doesn't come to mind when I need a part right meow.

I also know the Napa a few miles away doesn't honor the in-house oil sale ad. Different mom/pop ownership.

I ordered some stuff from AAP online. Printed out the "come pick it up" email and went there a few hours later. My stuff was gone. The clerk was like, "I guess someone else bought it." I got a refund and wasted my time.
