I have a friend, we were in the Navy together and we now work together, anyway I fixed both of his kids cars. A Ford Ranger and a Buick Regal. Ball joints, tie rod ends in the truck, steering rack and TPS in the Buick.

He had a bunch of riding mowers laying around. He gave me two he couldn't fix(didn't feel like fixing?). I have them both running (very nice I might add

)

One is able to mow, that one had a bent/cracked mower deck idler arm. Got a new updated one for 84 bucks shipped. Cuts so good I can't believe it. It is a 1997ish Murray 12.5 Hp 38 inch cut.

The other is a 2003ish Craftsman 19.5 HP (boxer motor), that needs the deck rebuilt. I am working on that now.

I just can't believe how good the little Murray works and both run excellent!

Both engines are Briggs and Stratton.

All three of them together. My original one is the Craftsman out front. I should be good for a long time!

Seems to be a good little motor. I was really surprised how good it runs.
