Seen a listing for a car for sale that had this done and was impressed as never seen a clear done.
Looking for more info on the treatment and a search did not turn up anything other than a ? about it being a possible adult site?
The car was silver

The plastidip industry is getting pretty crazy. You can apply it in a manner that looks like normal clearcoated paint - even metallic colors. I've seen a couple guys with some pearlescent effects using it. Really wild.

dipyourcar.com has lots of good info on the subject

This one, for example, was done by a company called dip-tex. Original color was silver You might try reaching out to them as well

Thanks for the info. May be a very viable option for paint protection on a newer to me car
