Has anyone sent in calipers for the Cardone core return? Their official core policy states rust will disqualify a caliper, but I find that ridiculous since calipers being replaced are probably going to be rusty regardless of why it's being replaced.

They state no core credit for: "Castings that are worn, broken, scored, damaged, cracked, frozen or rusted." Their policy makes no mention of "excessive rust" or "pitting", it literally just says "Rust" on that picture and the caliper they show as having rusted looks rather tame. Other companies like Centric specify the degree to how rusty it has to be and show pictures where huge chunks are literally flaking off.
I don't want to pay $70 if they end up saying my core isn't good enough because it has surface rust on it or the piston has a little surface rust on it. Also if I don't disassemble it, what if it has rust inside the caliper bore or on the sealing portions of the piston? Seems like a huge gamble.
