You guys have a shredded beef recipe or know of a good YouTube video on the subject ?

I'm looking for the kind you put in tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc.

My recommendation is to use brisket. Cook it in a slow cooker with chili or taco seasoning for about eight hours. It will fall apart easily into shreds. I did the same thing with pork shoulder and it made excellent tacos.

Look for a Carne Guisado (de res) recipe. My GF makes this often but never follows a written recipe.

I'll do the 8 hours if necessary, just as long as it turns out the way it should.

The slow cooker method seems like it would be the easiest.

Even easier; dump a can of enchilada sauce into the slow cooker with the brisket.

I grew very fond of this stuff when I lived in Corpus Christi. It's basically Mexican beef tips. This can be used for taco filling as well.

What does a brisket look like when I go to the meat department ?

It'll be labeled as such or you can ask someone in that department.
