What's best for die grinder? Front or rear exhaust

To get the power on needed I set up a 25000 RPM die grinder with An Arbor for cut off wheels. My current company issued industrial Fuji die grinder has rear exhaust. I was considering a Sioux because I want a dedicated cut off tool and I need my other die grinder for using stones and Burr bits. It would be nice to have a second die grinder as a dedicated cut off tool.

Which brings me to the question about exhaust because the die grinder I am looking at has front exhaust; is this worse for cut-off Wheels?

rear is usually better if you dont want it blowing your grinding around.

Exhaust is cold

Rear exhaust will also blow grit into your eyes and face.

You're not grinding without PPE are you? For shame

So will the grinding wheel if you angle it right.

That is by far 100x a greater threat

Front exhaust, where the air comes out by the cutting wheel, indeed will do that OFTEN.
Rear exhaust, where the air comes out by the air hose fitting, typically doesn't do that.

I was just eyeballing a Sioux but the darn thing has front exhaust. I have an industrial Fuji 25,000 rpm w/ rear exhaust that does great. I do breath a lot of fine cut-off wheel smoke/dust when just cutting a bolt in a vise. I wonder if front exhaust would bounce off the wheel and make it worse? Or blow it away from me? PPE always; Mandatory. Thanks for the replies.

Mine has front exhaust and I even took out the silencer material so that it would exhaust even easier. Very powerful die grinder. It will twist your wrist when you squeeze the trigger.
