You mean people are going to get over paying $6 or $8 for a .25 bulb?

I got a pack of them two weeks ago. One of the bulbs has already failed (it started flickering like a disco ball and is severely overheating).

On the bulb itself, the model # and name in very finr print is A19 "SHINE HAI".

I will not be buying anymore. You may want to use them outside or watch them closely for the first few weeks to weed out the ones that are getting past the high standards of the China plant.

But Dollar General does not. I never remember which is which.

Just because it has Dollar in the name does not mean it is a dollar. (just like the 99˘Only Store is actually $0.999).
I bought some LED's from the 99˘ Only Store, they are a dim blue, I have them in my garage door opener to just give enough light to walk around in the garage when the lights automatically turn on when I walk in.
The $2 for 2 GE dimmable from Walmart clearance was a much better deal.

They have them here too "subsidized by the state PUC".

They aren't bad, about the same as the "utilitech" from HD/Lowes.
