I've always enjoyed Soekris type appliances to install *nix and make into firewall, etc., but I see they're going out of business (

Is there a Soekris type competitor that sells with at least three (3), gigabit ports and sells with a case that I could install *nix on?

Thank you,

There are several boards sold these days at very low cost featuring Atom processors. Check out Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, etc. There are even some Linux distro derivatives (usually from Debian) specifically for these units. These units might be a bit "hobbyist" for you and don't feature the hardware ports; but maybe a simple switch installed downstream would suffice?
