We stopped by a Walmart today looking for clearance deals.
Bosch D+ and Fram HM oil filters were now down to fifty cents.
Selection was very limited and consisted of part numbers few people could use.
There were a number of D+ 3332 filters, which are suited to older GM and AMC/Jeep applications and a decent number of 3423s, suited to the same.
So, anyone with an old GMer or Jeep might check this out and score some decent oil filters dirt cheap.
Nothing else left.

I was lucky to get 9 of the Honda / Mazda size Bosch filters on clearance.

Are Bosch D+ the same as a Purolator?

Very limited choice at my local store. Nothing I could use.

For what ever reason, my store had Pennzoil High Mileage 5W-20 on clearance, and I did not check the price because I don't use that grade. The 5W-30 and 10W-30 were on rollback price, and not on clearance.

I wish I had bought those when they were two bucks back in early June, but I figured they'd get cheaper.
They have, but not in any part number I can use.

Are EcoGuard good filters? I saw them next to the Fram Ultras, they are $1.99 plus 12% back. But I didn't want to buy an unknown.

We use them at work when we can't get Parts Plus filters. No issues to report

Yep, and they hold up well. Excess glue in spots but they hold up well

Don't worry; I'll run my one and only Bosch D+ for 5k and cut it

Did you post pics of the cut EcoGuard?
I so, when?
I'm curious and would like to have a look.

The 3 Walmarts around me have been out of the Bosch D+ (except for a few 3500's) for months.
The Tough Guards have pretty much been wiped out as well. Wish I could find a TG6607/7317 size on clearance.

Here is a new EcoGard X4651 and an EcoGard S4651 cut open.

I have a X4651 on my truck right now.

PM me... I've got a pile of Bosch D+ filters that will likely exceed the time I own my Subaru... I will send you one to sacrifice a new one for the board.
