I'm going to buy one of those Bluetooth dongles so I can hook my phone to the OBD II system. I have an iPhone and I haven't seen any apps that really impress me.

Recommendations please.

Looking for the best app while buying the cheapest adapter...

I saw a Porsche today with Korean tyres.

Not really relevant. If the cheapest adapter works (not defective) and supports the OBDII protocol(s) you need (many do not, hit or miss before canbus), then you get all the performance out of them, unlike generic tires on a sports car.

Yeah mine is wifi

Torque Pro - $5 from the Play Store. Extremely well-supported, lots of plugins and themes, and compatible with a massive range of adapters. Also runs quite well on an average Android phone.

Torque Pro for $5 is a good universal

FORScan is good for your specialist use, on your newer Ford

However, prepare one day to pony up the $79 for a OBDLink MX and using it with FORScan on Windows

PATS programming, Mode 6 misfire, GEM/SJB coding and reading, the utilities are endless

It's the VAG-COM of the Ford world these days
