That looks like a really rugged oil filter. Alot tougher than a 820s.

These always seem to have done fine, though the pleat spacing at the seam is sort of shady.
This filter has 427 hours on it, about 3/4 of that is idle time.

Do I see a string tied pleat seam?
I use these in my 2009 Flex 3.5 - non boosted. She's got 170K kilometres so far, no oil issues.

Looks nice and boring. Other than the first few pleats after the seam, the filter portion looks good. No waves.

I ran these for most of my fusions life until I clued in to Fram ultra. Does a good job with motorcraft oil.
