That protester is going to need a huge ice bag. What a way to become famous.

Search for videos in the 1960's. Protesting used to be multitudes more dangerous.

I don't understand what the protesting is actually intended to accomplish.

What was the goal?

More than anything it appears to be masses of adults who lack basic control of their emotions....

A lot of these people are paid protestors. You can tell by the professionally made signs. They get bussed in. It's quite the racket.

You nailed it. The "adult" version of a temper tantrum.

That's how I see it. I don't feel sorry for the guy who took the shot to the Jimmy. Had he stayed home that day or decided not to kick things back at the police his day would have been a whole lot better. I don't think they were aiming there, but accidents do happen, and that one was totally avoidable.

Protesting comes in so many forms from the minority being violent to vast majority being quite passive. The violent make the camera.

Boston was a decent example of a (thousands) mass of peaceful folks with maybe 25-50 folks like you describe. Beyond effective getting the group the unwelcome message who left early under police escort. Boston was wrong time and place for the extreme group to hold a rally.

I'm not sure how many people actually know who that is - and that's the point for him. Most of the demonstrations these days are overwhelmingly people that want to make their voices heard about something and have no intention of mischief. But there's a lot of "professional" types and people paid to join in, with some of them being troublemakers, and then there's some that even cause trouble for free.

One could always ignore protesters. Wouldn't be much of a protest if they had no audience.

Order out of chaos.

"If a crisis of opportunity does not present itself in the time frame you need, why not ENGINEER a crisis to fit your goals? This is a tactic that has been used by elites for generations, and it is called the Hegelian dialectic.

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegelís work was the very foundation of the collectivist/socialist ideology, and it inspired Karl Marx during his writing of The Communist Manifesto. Hegel was an avid statist who believed that the collective must be ruled and directed by centralized governance and that all individualism should be sacrificed for the greater good.

In his dialectic theory, Hegel conjured a strategy by which the establishment elites could control the masses through deliberately created division. To define the Hegelian dialectic method simply, the ruling body must first trigger a problem or crisis that causes the citizenry to react with fear and demand a solution. The rulers then offer a solution, which they had already predetermined before they had started the crisis; this solution would usually entail more power for the elites and less freedom for the citizens."

The best way to get your voice heard is to vote.
These clowns that protest everything are like spoiled children.
Just beat em til they quiet down.
