I had intended to go to about 15k on this filter, but I was messing around with trying to get a view of my timing chains yesterday and noticed my coolant filter was seeping.
So I did the smart thing, grabbed it and tightened it 1/4 turn.
Well, that didnt work. It instantly started peeing coolant out around the gasket.
So, I pulled it off and found a ridge of rust where the filter is supposed to seal on the head. I cleaned it up and installed a new filter.
