I have always used Valvoline durablend grease in my 2005 jayco travel trailer axles. They are dexter EZ-Lube axles. Durablend is on the dexter list of approved grease. I ran out and bought another tube , but realized its synpower grease. Both are lithium base, but its not on the dexter list of greases. Of course i am way out of warranty, but would there be any issue using the synpower? Its a dual axle trailer with electric brakes.

I wonder why the synpower would not be an approved grease, unless it was not around when the ez lube axle was designed?

Would you use it, or get a tube of durablend?

thanks

I believe they are almost identical greases with similar moly content. The difference being a slightly better base oil in synpower.
