Superior machines. I have been using Klotz Techniplate in my Like, and have gone 17k on a Malossi 72cc big bore kit without issue.
My People and GV will do 85 all day long without breaking a sweat.
Quality of the drive is superior to my Chinese scooters as well. If you're talking power and especially torque, you'll find Kymcos make suspiciously more power than the equivalent Chinese offerings. Kymco is a true engine design firm, so that is no surprise.
