... as of 5:11 pm Central Time....
I know people look for Walmart to finally have it, but it seems to disappear fast.
Hurry, very reasonable price.

Have to order it online, have it shipped for free if ordering that and $10 worth of something else, or pick up at store.

I'm not even going to try anymore. No oil is worth rushing into buying. SOPUS needs to fix their distribution issues and then I'll consider buying PUP again.

Me too. I actually consider M1 EP and Castrol Edge EP (gold jug) to be equal to PUP, but I know many people really like PUP. Its good oil, but not worth stashing, especially since dexos1 Gen2 is emerging in other brands. For someone who needs this now or in a month or two, its a good price/buy, but not worth hoarding.

Gee....here on BITOG guys drive all over town to buy cheap oil.

I'm surprised there isn't a rush to all Walmarts nation wide by BITOG members for this highly coveted oil!

Is the consensus of the BITOG community that PUP is as good as it ever was or has it gone down a bit?

Slightly better. I think Pennzoil used BOI rules to put in PurePlus (GTL) when it changed, keeping all its original certifications, most significant being dexos1 Gen1. Doesn't look like its dexos1 Gen2 yet, and who knows if or when it will be, a slight problem as of today. So it got slightly better over its life thus far by switching to GTL base oil.

Funny, Pennzoil Platinum, its little brother, is now dexos1 Gen2, and easily obtained at Walmart or Amazon. So, is Pennz Plat dexos1 Gen2 better than Pennz Ultra Plat dexos1 Gen1 ? At least the current Pennz Plat is proven with the latest certification tests!

Is there a Walmart on the eclipse line so I can pick up these unicorn tears and watch the Eclipse? If so, I would emit a sound something like "woo-hoo".

What would I get by buying this as opposed to the generally available Castrol 0W-40 always available at Walmart?

0w40 too thick for most applications. Not in warranty, not in spec for most engines.
