Changing the front disc brakes on my 02 4Runner. I got confused after removing the pads and don't remember which pad goes where. I have the Toyota OEM pads. One pad has one wear indicator on one end and the other pad has 2 wear indicators in the middle. I believe the 2 wear indicator goes on the inner side of the rotor. I don't know if the pad with the one wear indicator goes up or down.

The calibers are on the front of the rotors. So I am assuming the pad with the one wear indicator goes up with the spinning rotor hitting the wear indicator end first.

Am I right?

Correct. Installed OEM pads on my 01 Tundra and dug up my Chilton's guide to see where the wear indicators were positioned and is just what you described.
