259 VS 268 in the CTS (272 in the ATS). Overall we are very pleased with it. 35,000 miles so it is early. 5000 mile oil changes. I have never had to add makeup oil. So far all I have done to it is add gas, well unless you count the time we got a tank full of water from the local gas station.
So the Cobalt SS had the 2.0 prior to this one as did the early Regals.
The Current 2.0 LTG was introduced in 2013. It has been used in the Regal GS, Cadillac CTS, ATS,CT6, 6th Gen Camaro, last and current gen Malibu (sleeper
), Current Equinox, Terrain and Traverse.
The only problems with the 2.0 are the early Cobalt SS with the porous block issue, and the early ATSs with piston issues.
3.6 is a timing chain nightmare. Not sure if that has been fixed, as I read about 2014-2015 crossovers STILL with chain problems. Add displacement on demand and it gets even worse
