Hello All,

This car is a "New" Demo from a local dealer. Your thoughts ? I was told about 2500 miles on it. Thanks

I'm not a fan of the newer model CTS, I loved the lines of the older.

If you are wanted that purchase, I wonder how much you get squeeze the price down on this 2.0T W/out AWD. we are a few months from 2018 after all.

Beautiful car. Love the color combo. Getting some tasteful 25% tint would really make it look nice.

Don't know anything about them, but Caddy has been on a good path. I'd go for it. I think it looks way nicer than an Audi or Benz. Only thing I like as much in that segment would be a BMW, but that Caddy looks great.

Its black and it's not a -v. Otherwise looks good to me.

What's invoice on the car as it was set up? They show msrp but invoice is more like it to start comparing discounts against.

Why not? They are quite capable cars, drive well and seem to perform well.

Not sure I would buy it. I maintain my son's 2008 Cadillac CTS and I find the car a little more troublesome than the average car. The 2.0 turbo powering that car might make plenty of power but I can't see it lasting.

New Cadillacs depreciate faster than any car I've ever seen.

Strongly considering a ATS coupe 2.0 6M. Impossible to find, however.

Wards 10 best, check out the Cobalt SS's and Regals with the 2.0T. They are tanks.

On a test drive I've always had the image of the salesman saying to the customer, "Come one, kick it in the @$$ and see what it can do!!!".

I have this engine in my 2015 Turbo Malibu. 2.0 LTG, it is down some power for the front wheel drive, intake set up and exhaust.
259 VS 268 in the CTS (272 in the ATS). Overall we are very pleased with it. 35,000 miles so it is early. 5000 mile oil changes. I have never had to add makeup oil. So far all I have done to it is add gas, well unless you count the time we got a tank full of water from the local gas station. smile
So the Cobalt SS had the 2.0 prior to this one as did the early Regals.

The Current 2.0 LTG was introduced in 2013. It has been used in the Regal GS, Cadillac CTS, ATS,CT6, 6th Gen Camaro, last and current gen Malibu (sleeper smile ), Current Equinox, Terrain and Traverse.

You have a 2.8 or 3.6. Did you have timing chain issues?

I have the 3.6 direct injection. Timing chain was done under recall before it presented any problem.

The only problems with the 2.0 are the early Cobalt SS with the porous block issue, and the early ATSs with piston issues.

3.6 is a timing chain nightmare. Not sure if that has been fixed, as I read about 2014-2015 crossovers STILL with chain problems. Add displacement on demand and it gets even worse

Yep the 2013 ATS was the only one with the problem, fixed under warranty. The problem was solved pretty quickly.

It is my understanding the timing chain issue has been solved, does not really matter for this particular car.

The 2.0 is good stuff.

I went and checked out this car on Saturday. Too cramped on the inside, and horrible views from the outside mirrors.

Could have got a smoking deal, but I didn't like it.

Thanks for the help.
