I have two Bosch D+ D3410 filters. One has a date code of F04H12F1 and has louver holes on the center tube, the other has a date code of F06G18F1 and has circular holes on the center tube.

I don't think I really care about the actual dates because these are both fairly new, but I was just wondering when they switched designs for the holes in the center tube? Does it really matter louver vs. round?

F06G18F1 = 6/18/2015

F04H12F1 = 4/12/2016

So the switch to louvers was somewhere between those two dates. I think it was near the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016 time frame.

I know I have 2 of the PH3600 size (not sure of the D+ # for them) and one has holes, the other has good looking louvers (2 others at Walmart did not, so I passed on them).
Need to go look at the date codes on them.

I believe the D+ version of the PH3600 is a D3422.
I picked up a few of these at WM for $3 each....some have holes some have louvers....

And these things used to be expensive.
