A lot of the Jiffy Lube's and some of the car dealerships in my area have started using https://duramaxoil.com/ Duramax brand oil, especially for full synthetic changes. I haven't heard of this brand before, but I see it around a lot lately. I realize it isn't a premium brand, but I'm wondering if it is sufficient. Does anyone know anything about it?

Reladyne, who bought Oil Distributing here in Cincinnati, markets it. I see it in a lot of convenience stores, and they also sell it in bulk to many garages around here, including some bigger names like Bob Sumerel Tire & the Superior Automotive dealer group. Don't know who blends it for them, but I would think it's probably decent. Also,

It's not Duramax - that's a GM/Isuzu diesel engine. It's DuraMAX. No, I'm not being anal, the capitalization seriously does make that big of a difference.

The oils apparently carry the API Starburst on the front of the bottles, so, assuming the API Donut is on the back, there's nothing to worry about.

It seems to me, judging by the image below the cap, Amalie is the bottler.
