I changed the oil on my aunts car earlier, which takes a Napa 1348, I used a Proselect 21348. I noticed onthe filter now instead of Wix its says Mann-Hummel. I was aware of Mann Hummel now making these filters for a while now but I have to ask, can these Mann Hummel made filters be possible Tearolators? As in, do I have to worry about them tearing while in service?

Does the Proselect look like an old Wix version? If so, they probably didn't change it... yet.
M+H bought Wix but Wix is still made in the same facilities before it was acquired.
I saw Mann-Hummel on the Wix site the other day.
It's still the same Wix filter as it's always been, just with Mann & Hummel ownership.
