2017 Interactive Eclipse map

The big day is less than 2 weeks away.

This map is fun to use.

It gives lats and longs on the location you select. The times and whether it's a total or partial eclipse.

I am thinking the cities that are in the path of totality will have a traffic NIGHTMARE. Probably in the rural areas as well. People will literally STOP on the Interstates according to the news this morning.
Not to mention the strain on small towns infrastructure.

Good catch. Did not think of that.

Watch it be cloudy or rain.
 
Anyone that is driving and has to stop because of this should not be driving period. It's an eclipse, not the end of the world.
 
Usually total eclipses do not cause any weather events, however it is possible for the sudden cooling caused by blocking the sun to cause very strong winds, or even a short quick intense storm, and winds as strong as a tornado.
