I am thinking of the Milwaukee or Ego. I have Milwaukee M18 batteries. For Ego, I will probably buy a Ego lawn mower in a year or two.

Milwaukee has a 18v brushes motor. Ego has a 56v battery.

I know its not in your post but the GreenWorks Pro 80v. Is a beast.
I got one last month on sale at $148. It is better than many gas units.
This is a commercial grade unit.

Hudson - 2 gallon - very quiet and lasts a while too ...

No thanks.... qualityweedwackers last decades for homeowners, and the battery is just too much of a liability for that to be viable here. I'd definitely look for a Makita, Milwaukee, or some other brand that has tons of tool support, not a more niche variant.

I do have a makita 36v leaf blower. Love it for blowing off cars after washing. Quieter, good volume, does the job, and I can keep it on the shelf with my car washing kit indoors. But I'd never give up my two stroke for this to do after mowing and fall cleanup... and my yard isn't even particularly large.

I would consider it but this is bare tool price.
