Amazon now carries Chevron Delo Synthetic 5w30

I've never seen any synthetic 5w30 HDEO on a store shelf. Not Mobil Delvac 1, not T6 5w30, not Delo, none.

I know some people on here have been wanting to try this stuff out, so here you go smile

Probably worth noting this is the SN rated and contains lower percentages of Ph (7%), Zn (8%), etc than their HDEO products:

Amsoil has had a synthetic 5w30 diesel oil for years.

its not 7% or 8%

That would be 70000ppm /80000ppm

Thank you for the correction. Ofcourse, you are right.

But the greater message is nonetheless correct.

Yes, it is dual rated for diesel and gasoline engines.

At $23/gal, is this really $7+/ gal better than PYB or PP/M1 if you don't have a diesel?

I'm fairly sold on their 15w-30 for OPE, but not sure of the benefit of this for most applications.

If you lived somewhere REALLY cold, like AK or the Yukon, this oil has the lowest pour point I've ever seen for an HDEO, -60F! Even lower than the Delvac Elite 222 0W30! Otherwise, it's pretty expensive, and that NOACK would cause pretty rapid burn off in hot temperatures.
