A while back I noticed DT had "SMB" oil in 11 oz containers for a buck. Bad deal.

Now they have API certified 10w30 syn blend in huge 16 oz containers. Suddenly competitive! And great for those freaks who take 3.5 quarts of oil and hate having the spare hanging around.

$2/ quart, every day. Someone buy some so they keep restocking.

Yep, they increased the size of the bottles in late 2016..

Ignoring clearance prices and rebates, this might be the cheapest regular every day retail price for an API Certified motor oil.

They've had this container size for a while now.
...and you get Superior Motoring Benefits.
Two bucks a quart at regular price is pretty cheap for an API SN syn blend oil.

Most believe the quality of synthetic blend varies by manufacturer.

even 1% synthetic can still legally be called "a blend"
