Unless AAP is excluded from the MI MIR, you probably can.
The AAP rebates can be done entirely online, so this may well work.
Certain channels have been specifically excluded from MI MIRs in the recent past, like Scamazon.

The rebate is here:

https://apfco.com/secure/R8235W/

It specifically excludes Amazon for whatever reason only Mobil knows. But it's basically not good at Amazon but good at Walmart. I guess they want you to physically go into a store and take it off the shelf.

I see CARQUEST, now known as AAP, is listed, but not AAP itself, if I read it right.

Various deceptive offers from third-party vendors on their site that they could easily put a permanent halt to.

VEERING OFF THREAD'S TRAJECTORY A BIT HERE.

Thanks for Scamazon. I sought part numbers for my '07 Volvo V70 and all the prices for common items like filters, shocks-struts, etc. are much higher than online sources for foreign car parts.

That's good in the grand scheme because the smaller shops deserve support and support marque specific forums.

I will go see if Walmart has said Mobil1 rebate offers.

There are some great sources for Euro car parts.
These guys will also stand behind the parts they sell and the OEM versus aftermarket parts are clearly offered as such with no deceptive wording and no made in China junk.
FCP Euro even offers a lifetime warranty on every part they sell and their prices are quite reasonable with free shipping at a low dollar threshold as well.

Amazon prices on the Toyota parts I use are as good as anyone. Plus, the part arrives when they say it will.

Good to know, but I don't think that a Toyota can be considered a Euro car.

I typically purchase my oil at Walmart, but I can confirm that you'll get your rebate if you purchase from AAP. They had M1 oil and filter combos for $32. M1's rebate took $15 off that. I purchased 2 and received my M1 rebate a few weeks back. Basically spent ~$4 for the M1 filter.

Unless AAP has an awesome sale, Walmart may have them beat since it's now on rollback. HTH.

The other problem with Amazon is that they lump all the parts from 3rd party vendors into one bin so that you don't know if it's a part that Amazon got or one that a 3rd party supplier did. So you can buy from Amazon and get a fake part. They're cracking down on that more, but that's why I won't buy a Xenon bulb from them, lots of fakes out there and they even fake the unique bar code they're all supposed to have. You're more likely to get a real one if you go to a specific vendor. Also sometimes rockauto tends to be a little bit cheaper and their search function is a lot better than Amazon. Amazon's recommendations can't be trusted unless you know the actual part number. FCP Euro is also good, but I think it depends on the part, they're a little bit more money you just have to decide if you need the lifetime warranty. Certain parts already have lifetime warranties.

My bad Oct is right. Well if it matters early this year I got the $15 rebate from my purchase of mobil 1 and filter from AAP.
