How about a stock looking sleeper. Others might call it a "gentleman's express". The craftsmanship hides the true nature of this car. It's definately not for the faint of pocket book.

Outstanding engineering.... and craftsmanship.

How to get these new cars to accept mods (twin DBW throttle bodies... sheesh)

Have to agree. That was a lot of effort, but the results speak loudly.
I cant even imagine how many hours someone spent getting the throttle mapping on that thing right.

I feel really really old now, I owned that magazine, and though the car was the greatest thing on the planet...I wnated a Pantera with a Banks engine.

Good days!!

So what do you do when you need to change the spark plugs?

Also didn't know the stock gen 5 camaros only have one shock/strut to hold up the hood - the 4th gens have 2 like they added to that car.

Wow, that's laughable. "Sleeper Camaro"

What an oxymoronic proposition.

Some of the fastest production cars in history are current high-spec Camaros.
You therefore expect Camaros to be fast.

Sleeper. What a bad word to describe this car. This car is the opposite of a sleeper.

I want to slap someone after reading this thread.

Pull the tires and go in through the fender well probably

He may be able to remove some of the plumbing pretty easily.
