Loc: toronto general, but I'm really stunned at some of the quality photographs that Pilot Christiaan van Heijst has captured and shared on instagram.

First heard about him a little while ago after he caught some truly bizarre brightly glowing structures submerged in the ocean just off of the Aleutian Islands, that illuminated the sky above. Since then, we've seen "strange auroras", "mystery plumes" and the like. Overall, just excellent photography and photographic opportunities.

Thanks for posting, I spent an enjoyable 1.5 hrs looking at the photos. Makes me wish I had trained to be a pilot (way back when)..
