All -
I am now at the point of where my Dodge Ram 1500 with 287 V-8 is over 200,000 miles.
and currently use either Smitty's, Pennzoil, or Valvoline High Mileage oils, when I can.
My question: If the miles are so high, is there any issue with using 5w30 or a mix with 10w30? (versus the 5w20 spec)
I have lots of 5w30 and 10w30 stashed, and need to use some of it up. I assume it's ok for this engine with so many miles and being summer? (Avg. temps here are from 25 Winter to 105 Summer)
