Forum member GermanAutohaus has posted several UOA & VOA reports. The oil appears to do well in its intended applications and extended drain intervals.

Price is not bad either through some stores.

I'm not sure that it's better than the less expensive Euro oils available at Wal-Mart, but it's a solid choice if your car needs A3/B4, VW 502/505, BMW LL-01, or MB 229.5.

It's a decent oil, the problem is that you have a bunch of oils with equivalent performance & certifications for less money on store shelves (Mobil 1 0w40, Castrol Edge 0w40, etc).

I wouldn't pay more than $6/qt for it.

If 5-40 is your choice have a look also at the 5-40 Sport oil. Harder to find and specifically higher ester content (for whatever that's worth to you) with an HTHS of 4.0, full SAPS. Also available is the 0-40 Xmax, HTHS 3.6, increased ester content but not to the Sport level. 0 weight maybe useful due to your location, your call there. Dparm is right though, there are less expensive choices.
