Similar Stand but cheaper

I am looking for a jack stand like this one https://safejacks.com/collections/compact-jack-stands/products/the-rennstand-by-safe-jack but less expensive..

Has anyone come across something similar?

I can't help you find the stand, but if I were trying to sell that stand for $139 I would not use a Harbor Freight jack to demonstrate my product.



Not bashing Harbor Freight, I own quite a few tools from them, including a jack that is very similar to the one shown. But a stand for $139 needs a Snap On jack.

MOST D-I-Yer's use harbor freight floor jacks, so you are not alone.

It's genius for them to show that - people ALREADY know it will work with their stuff!

I too use a "pinch weld puck" from eBay. Works like a charm. I also have a fabricated metal puck style one with magnets to hold it to the car. Either is great.

I use a piece of 2X4, the wood doesn't slip.

A hockey puck with as notch cut in it from a hack saw costs about $3.09 with tax.

Not sure why anyone would want to spend less on something with somewhat dubious construction that is protecting your life. Penny wise pound foolish.
