Good rainy afternoon BITOG

This filter and NAPA Syn 0w20 was on a friends 2016 Chevy Tahoe for 7,000 miles. Vehicle has 59,xxx miles on it with 50/50% highway/city driving. Put some Synpower 0w20 and a Tough Guard 10575 in and back on.

Looks quite similar to the Prime Guard line of oil filters.
Seems to have held up well.
Do they leak test each one? With air?

It's constructed well, but any guess on efficiency?
50% at 40 microns?

No one knows......

My guess is me messing with it while cutting it open moved the spring somewhat

Once again a $2 Chinese filter has perfectly even pleats....some American made 'premium' filters could learn something from them...

PS: I'd use those filters without hesitation....

What's funny is the Parts Plus filters we use at work used to be Korea made; now Made in china

Same for most OEM, they do not publish specs, and some of the one's that have are not that stellar (flow over filtration as some say).
