Something new from Raybestos.

Quote:
The new Raybestos Opti-Cal line from Brake Parts Inc. features all new components and no core returns.

Raybestos Opti-Cal calipers are manufactured with a new caliper body, brackets and components, including pistons, lubricated guide pins and pad mounting hardware, to ensure they fit and function correctly.

Aluminum or zinc plated castings deliver superior corrosion prevention, and the zinc finish provides all-weather protection, inhibits rust and maintains a pristine appearance.

It's great to have a new option (other then the dealer). However calipers are an extremely price-driven market, so it will have to be priced right to succeed.

Priced right too, looks like a good alternative to most remans, 10 yr warranty is being listed on some sites. Worth looking into for sure, thanks for the link.

nothing wrong with that. I hope they do end up being good quality. Glad to see it has a coating to fight corrosion smile
