Quaker State conventional 10W30 green bottle is showing at $1.45 per quart for order online, pickup in store at Walmart.com. Dont forget the $3 rebate per 5 quarts from Quaker State. That will net you 5 quarts of oil for $4.25, or 85 cents per quart. Nice deal. According to my math, you can buy up to 35 quarts to get the maximum $21 rebate from Quaker State.

Grabbed a couple qts for the lawn mower plus another item I needed. Not going to mess with the rebate, very reasonable without it. Normally use on sale Napa conventional or Peak on bogo, this beats price of either.

Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT. For above poster, looks like diy QS rebate info down on their site. If pattern follows, it should come back up at some point. Typical unreliable SOPUS rebate fulfilment&information, IME. Link is here, but currently says check back later.

FWIW, the SOPUS rebates and their rebate site have been about flawless for the past 18+ months. You couldn't ask for much better. This is the first real glitch we've run across in that time. The Pennzoil page was down for a couple days this past week. Probably doing maintenance. It's back up again. The QS page is down. It should be back up before the week is out. If this is all anyone can complain about for 45% discounted oil, then things are pretty good. SOPUS rebates have been lightning fast the past year or more....about one third to half the time Mobil 1 has been taking. I guess the "pain" from the bad customer service several years ago never fades for some.

"Flawless?" LOL Just several days ago the PZ 'DIY' rebate info was down as confirmed HERE as the QS diy rebate is now.

I have a different definition of "flawless." What I posted in direct response to "another poster's" query is entirely accurate as written. QS 'DIY' rebate information is currently down as I posted. But, "check back later." smile2

I had problems finding the rebates page directly.
With links from bitog members it works good.

Quaker State items cancelled because says OOS, however shows in store stock online. This looks to be another of the recent spate of listing errors on WM .com posted here. Looking closer at the listing, the 'about this item' description says 10w40 and manufacturer and model # different than the current WM QSAD listing linked HERE. For me it was only a couple quarts, so worth a shot and no biggie.

Updating QS DIY rebate info queried previously, currently still down. However, "check back later". smile2

Sorry guys, just got a call from Wal-Mart saying that they could not sell it to me at that price. Said the UPC code online does not match current stock, but they would gladly sell it to me for the current price of $3.97 a quart.

I was wondering if anyone was able to pick it up yet.
My order is still pending/processing and not ready for pick up.
From yesterday at 3pm central time.

Thanks for the tips! It worked for me as a pick-up order at my local Wal-Mart this afternoon. The UPC/SKU for the QSGB 10w-30 they had on the shelf in the store didn't match the on-line order/listed SKU, but they gave the oil to me anyway without complaint at $1.45/qt., saying that the home office's SKU cross-references are often out of whack. Now we'll see how SOPUS does with the $3 on-line-submitted rebate---that one doesn't come up as available here in Michigan on the SOPUS/Quaker State website. Probably should've bought more for the stash, but I'm not a big 10w-30 user---but at $0.85/qt., I can be persuaded!

I got my 5 today. It is a mess up in the computer but the manager honored it. The sku is actually for the bulk oil in the mechanic bay I was told. Not oil in a container. Good customer service at some WM's and some not so much it looks like.

^^^^You got a nice store ie., agreeable manager. I think if I had really wanted to push the issue I likely could have gotten my two quarts by bringing a copy of the online listing showing it in pick up area. Not worth it though for me.

As the OP alluded to, whatever the topic listing item # it doesn't match the current 10w30 QSAD WM item, model and manufacturer numbers. I did pick up another item I had in the order, and WM charged the correct adjusted amount to my card.

And for those interested, again the current QS online 'DIY' rebate information is still down. And still says, "check back later....". smile2
