It bothers me they call it a "barrel" roll when its just a simple roll.
Here's a real barrel roll. Note the barrel cylinder of the spiral flight path.

I was trying to figure out why they thought they needed a full belly pan, unless thats just what the E-Pace comes with.
Many new cars have aero belly pans, but made of plastic, and that one at least looks metallic.

At first I thought a belly pan would reduce unmodelled vortical air flow as it rolled, which might have thrown off their calculations.
Or maybe they just did it for shiny good looks as it rolled.
