Fram High performance racing oil filter?

From the ad: "Low-restriction racing media designed for high oil flow. "

That right there indicates that its likely to have a lower efficiency. Still better than fine metal mesh screen racing filters, but definitely biased more toward "flow" than "filtration" in its design. That's exactly what you want in a racing engine that gets rebuilt annually anyway. You don't want that in a passenger car that ideally never gets rebuilt in 200,000 miles.

Racing engines don't deal with "soot" and "sludge".

You just need a filter to catch all the metal pieces if something goes very wrong.
It might save some other engine parts.
