I think i read somewhere that the Fram XG3600 is compatible with this 3.3 engine, but according to the Fram website it does not. I usually use the Fram XG3614, which is shorter version respectively. Can somebody with knowledge confirm?

I have used both filters on Chrysler's, Toyota's & Mazda's so, yes you can use the longer XG3600 if it fits due to the extra length.

Awesome my man. Thank You.
The longer filter should help with an extended use. Judging by the results others have dissected after a full use of 15,000 miles/24,000km, I think 10,000 km x 3 for a total of 30,000km is doable.

PH3614 is the short, small diameter. PH3600 longer.
PH16 is the short fat filter, PH8 is the mack daddy.
See if you have room for the 16.....

Fram is currently claiming their Ultra can go 20,000 miles, so if you use a bigger one.... more margin.

Weird, the PH16 is what was spec'ed for my '05 Grand Caravan with the 3.8.
According to Fram's site, '07 was when they smaller filter starts to be spec'ed, even though the 5th gen did not start till 2008, even thought the engine was the same.

I think I used one of those once too.
